Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesdays Q&A

This week my lovely co host is asking the questions.
Here is what Crazymama sent:
{1} What is your favorite go to breakfast recipe for special occasions or company?
I like to keep it simple - standard breakfast at my house...bacon and eggs, sometimes pancakes (only if there is REAL maple syrup in the house)
{2} What is your policy for kids that don't want to eat what you are serving?
I am lucky (knock on wood) that Maddy eats anything and everything...but my rule would be you have to at least try it before saying you don't like it. That's how I was raised.
{3} Do you take treats to neighbors? What kind?
No...I don't really "associate" with my neighbours. I do like to bring treats to friends and family though sometimes!
{4} What is your most used spice in your cupboard? (Besides salt or pepper)
Right now it's cinnamon as I have been mixing it with sugar and putting it on my toast in the morning but I would have to also say Garlic Powder...I put that on everything!
{5} What is your favorite fruit ? Do you have a Fave veggie?
I like most fruits and veggies...but if I have to pick...favorite fruit would be a plain royal gala apple...and a fave veggie (raw) would be cauliflower (with dip of course) and my fave cooked veggie would be potatoes!
Bonus question....
{6} It was tax day here in the US. Did you get a return? How do you spend it?
Unfortunately it is tax time in Canada as well...a return HAHAHAHA...I live in Quebec and work in Ontario - that apparently is a big NO - NO so I always owe...usually between 2500 - 5000 (not joking)!

O boy that is not the kind of tax repayment I would want! Not that you like it either, I'm sure!
OMG! I think I would hate taxes if I owed that much! Geez you'd think they didn't take anything out of there..I'd look into that!!
I would have a heart attack every year!
I like your rule try it first!
I usually just say your eating this! LOL
I live and work in the same province and I owe $693, explain THAT one! :(
They have to try it and if it's something I know they will eat they don't get much choice. My youngest is terrible picky and often doesn't want what's for dinner, not because he doesn't like it, but because he's contrary like that.
have you ever tried fresh ground cinnamon? We ordered some off Amazon and ground it our self... OMG it's awesome!
I forgot about potatoes! lol
That is a good rule - try it once before you say you don't like it. You are lucky that Maddy likes everything!!
Ouch on the tax return, I feel for you.
OH MY GOSH! taxes suck. that is a huge bummer.
that's the kind of apples i buy. the only kind.
thanks for linking up!
I wish I did not associate with a few of my neighbors....I am sure you have heard of Doctors without Borders, but have you ever heard of Neighbors without Boundaries? :/

RJ

ps Tanner is adorable!!
That tax owing would break my heart and my bank. maybe when you go back to work you can ask to have more $ taken off for taxes.
